This is ridiculous, the Clinton’s have made over 100 million dollars since Bill left the oval office. Now, she is shilling for money from the average American. I am amazed that our political leaders have the gall to do such a thing. She loaned money to her losing campaign, it failed, so now she is out the money. How can anyone think that it is even reasonable to ask hard-working people to help payoff a loan for someone who is worth over 100 million?
Faced with a campaign debt of over $20 million, Hillary Clinton discussed the issue with her former rival Barack Obama ahead of their first campaign appearance together to project Democratic party unity. The two spoke by phone Sunday night, the first time the likely Democratic nominee and his former rival have exchanged words since their private meeting in Washington weeks ago before Clinton conceded defeat and endorsed Obama. They discussed retiring Clinton’s campaign debt, a conversation Democratic sources cited by ABC called “constructive”.

Begging for $$$
Was traveling North on I95 between Washington and Baltimore yesterday when at about 75MPH noticed a change in engine note. Let off throttle, noise went away, back on throttle, definitely something not right. As I worked my way over to the right lane, the oil pressure light came on. Clutch-in, and started coasting. Light flickered a few times, then solid on. Once it was on full, I turned off engine and coasted off the Rt175 ramp all the way to a gas station at the end of the ramp. The time the engine was on and first noticed issue until I shut down was approx 1 minute (probably less).
As I got out of the car, I was greeted to the whole left side of the car covered in oil, with more flowing from the oil cooler location.
Took four hours to get a tow truck that would tow it to Criswell, most wanted nothing to do with towing the Lotus. One guy came by and said he would never trust the tow ring to pull it onto flat bed.
Waiting to hear back from Criswell today…

I spend a lot of time in my car commuting, some days approaching 4 hours. To help pass the time, I, like millions of others, listen to talk radio. I listen to the usual syndicated national shows, and XM has offered up a few more alternatives. Hell, I even listen to NPR on occasion. But, the shows I like best are the local shows that focus on issues that affect a region or city. These seem to have the most interesting and thought provoking content.
Well sadly, one show has bit the dust. Chris Core who was formally with WMAL 630 in Washington DC was fired on Feb 29th. This move was made by the folks at Citadel Broadcasting, who have shown that they know how to buy radio stations, they just are still working at how to run them effectively. Firing Chris Core seems to show that they have a ways to go in that department.
After 33 years on the job, entertaining thousands of fans, Chris is no longer with WMAL 630. While I am sure he will soon be back on the air, hopefully in DC, I will take this opportunity to thank him.
